Groovy Brazilian Bossa Novas, graceful sambas and international standards, mixed with Brazilian jazz, form the repertoire of singer, guitarist and composer Hans Limburg. With his “extraordinary feeling for rhythmic and harmonic elegance and virtuosity” (press) he inspires every audience.
It was always of particular importance to Hans Limburg to play and interpret authentic Brazilian music from the rich "Música Popular Brasileira" (MPB) repertoire alongside the well known cliché carnival songs. His own songs, composed around his own acoustic guitar playing, blend jazz elements with Brazilian music.
Tragically, Hans Limburg died in 2013.
His friends, colleagues and musicians from around the world miss him and his music immensely.
